A multimillion dollar drive to buy new police vests is underway. Marriott asks guests to tip hotel maids. Should the company just pay more? McDonalds gives out free coffee, but is it helping business and the company's sagging image?  A major buyout is offered to United flight attendants. A new hotel development is near McCormick Place.
