DuSable Lake Shore Drive Lane Closures Are Still Happening: Here’s the Schedule for the Week of Oct. 21

It’s Groundhog Week on DuSable Lake Shore Drive, where this week’s schedule of overnight lane closures is a repeat of last week’s.

Pavement marking continues on sections of the roadway between LaSalle Drive and Hollywood Avenue, according to the Chicago Department of Transportation.

Southbound lanes between Irving Park Road and LaSalle Drive are once again the primary choke point. 

Here’s what motorists can expect Oct. 21-24; the schedule is the same every night:

— Lane closures take effect at 7 p.m.

— Only one lane will be open on southbound DuSable Lake Shore Drive between Irving Park Road and LaSalle Drive.

— One lane will be closed in both northbound and southbound directions between Hollywood and Lawrence avenues.

— All ramps will remain open.

— Lanes will reopen by 6 a.m. every morning.
