When Brighton Park native Elizabeth Morales saw that children in her community didn’t have the same opportunities for arts learning as kids in other neighborhoods did, she made her own creative space for them, an initiative she called Del Dia. And when she saw that the pandemic had stymied access to healthy produce in her neighborhood, she applied that same creativity to solving a new problem and started the Feed the Crib initiative.
