The past several months have been difficult for everyone in Chicago, but in the city’s Latino communities, the pain from the COVID-19 pandemic has been especially acute. 

Still, as Chicago’s Latinos know, 2020 is not the first time the community and neighborhoods have been challenged, or their contributions overlooked.
