This week on Chicago Tonight: The Week in Review, Mayor Rahm Emanuel unveils his $6.3 billion budget which doubles water and sewer fees over the next four years. The mayor also wants to increase various taxes, fines, hotel and parking fees to raise $220 million. The CTA is cutting staff, and changing sick time and vacation leave policies to reduce its massive deficit. The “Occupy Wall Street” protests grow bigger both here and around the country. Stuart Levine is revealing all on the witness stand in the corruption trial of political powerbroker William Cellini. And in sports, Cubs owner Tom Ricketts lands his dream general manager: Red Sox whiz kid Theo Epstein. And the White Sox officially welcome Robin Ventura as manager.
