WTTW Launches New Series ‘Art and Design in Chicago’

Chicago artists and designers enrich the life of this city and make contributions well beyond our borders.

On Friday, WTTW launches “Art and Design in Chicago.” The new four-part series explores the creative movements, people and institutions of Chicago over the last 125 years, from TV commercial director Joe Sedelmeier to the activist mural “Wall of Respect,” to graphic artists Dorothy and Otis Shepard and the influential young artists known as the Hairy Who.
