Join WTTW News for a live conversation about police-community relations on Tuesday, May 26, at 6 p.m. at Thalia Hall in Pilsen. Brandis Friedman will host a panel discussion, and audience members will have a chance to participate.

Glen Brooks, director of community policing for the Chicago Police Department, will be part of the panel discussing how the police and community interact, and how to make that relationship stronger. What is working? What still needs to be done? How can trust be further built and extended across the city, and what impact will that have on public safety?

Also joining the panel are Leonardo Quintero, chair of the 12th District Council of the Community Commission for Public Safety and Accountability; Leo Ortega of the Pilsen Neighbors Community Council; Adam Davidson, assistant professor of law at the University of Chicago; and Bradly Johnson, CEO of BUILD.
