Election Day is just two weeks away, and WTTW News has one more live televised candidate forum for candidates on the ballot for the 2026 general election.
“Chicago Tonight” anchor Brandis Friedman will moderate a live discussion with candidates for U.S. Senate, giving voters an opportunity to hear directly from the nominees as they discuss key issues ahead of Nov. 3.
The two candidates are running to replace longtime Sen. Dick Durbin, who’s retiring at the end of his term.
Illinois Democrats have nominated Lt. Gov. Juliana Stratton of Chicago. And for the Republicans, former state party chair Don Tracy from central Illinois.
The big issues in the race include gas prices, housing affordability, immigration and healthcare — among others.
The forum will be televised live Tuesday at 8 p.m. Both candidates will be at WTTW studios to answer questions. You can catch the forum on television, Facebook, YouTube and at wttw.com/news. The full forum will be available to stream at any time.
In the meantime, check out WTTW News’ 2026 General Election Voter Guide to learn about the candidates and other races.
