The Republicans were firing up the faithful at the Illinois State Fair. Carol Marin reports on the latest from Springfield.
Gubernatorial candidate Bruce Rauner was a featured speaker at today's State Fair. Arriving on his Harley motocycle, Rauner delivered a speech motivating voters to "sweep Pat Quinn into the dustpan of history." Rauner was introduced by former governor Jim Edgar who pressed the message of unity among the Republican party in order to win the November election. Edgar said Bruce Rauner as governor would give the state a fresh start and a change from the same Democratic policies voters have seen for a while.
