About the Candidate
Name: Mike Fricilone
DOB: Oct. 11, 1954
Political Experience: Current Will County Board Minority Leader
Hello, my name is Mike Fricilone, Republican candidate for Illinois’ 3rd Congressional District.
I’ve lived here in the 3rd Congressional District for over 50 years.
Our District is full of hard workers and loving families. From the heart of the City of Chicago to the suburbs of Lockport, Romeoville, and Lemont our community is special because of our wonderful diversity.
I have been part of this community in many capacities, as a dad, a husband, a coach, an active church goer, and as the Republican leader on the Will County
During my time serving the people of Will County, I have been working hard to promote forward thinking values. I sit on our county finance committee which
oversees a $600 million budget, as well as taking a role in the oversight of our county pension system.
I am especially proud that during my time as Finance Chairman we actually reduced tax rates 4 years in a row. Then, without raising taxes, we built a new public safety center, 911 center, a new county courthouse and a new county health department.
I am proud that we were also able to find ways to incorporate renewable energy into these projects that will pay for themselves over the coming years.
In Congress, we must work to protect our borders and find a solution to DACA for these children and families.
We need to return the SALT tax deduction to taxpayers, especially those of us in the city and the suburbs whose taxes have grown astronomically. We must always keep our nation safe, by standing by that proven adage of ‘peace through strength.’
Finally, we must keep our economy on track, by ensuring that we continue to keep tax rates low.
On Tuesday March 17th, I ask for your vote.
I am the only genuine, viable Republican candidate on the Primary ballot.
I’m Mike Fricilone, running for Congress, and I am asking for your vote. Please visit, MikeFricilone.com to join my campaign or ask me questions.

Why are you running?
We need a credible Candidate running on the Republican ticket ,but more importantly we need to continue the policies our President has started and I hope to help him do that
What is your vision for this office?
Its time for a Change We have had the same family control this seat for 36 years I hope to breathe new life into the office and make sure all the people that live in the district benefit from my time in office
What do you think is the most pressing issue facing your constituents and how do you plan on addressing it?
For those that are working help them keep more of their hard earned money in their pockets by reducing their tax burden For those that are not working provide the training they need to be productive citizens
