Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band just added a Chicago stop to their 2023 North American tour. They’ll hit Wrigley Field on Aug. 9 — guess we’ll find out if The Boss was born to run the bases.
Tickets go on sale through the stadium box office at 10 a.m. Feb. 17.
The Springsteen announcement brings even more star power to an already solid summer concert lineup at Wrigley Field, with Pink, Fall Out Boy, Dead & Company and Morgan Wallan also slated to play the venue.
According to the fan site My Bosstime, Springsteen last played Chicago in August 2016. He first appeared in the Windy City back in 1975.
The latest tour opened Feb. 1 in Tampa with a 28-song set.
