PBS’s wild traveler is ready to hit the road again.
The show “Wild Travels” is back with a new season premiering this week, and viewers can expect a showcase of eccentric places across the U.S.
In San Marcos, Texas, since 2008, a group has combined the art of football and riding unicycles. They play the game on cement and there are quite a few injuries and broken bones, said Will Clinger, the host of “Wild Travels.”
“Not a clever thing to be doing, frankly,” Clinger said. “But these guys are way into it, and there is a lot of beer involved.”
Catch the season premiere of “Wild Travels” at 5 p.m. Sunday on WTTW.
