The Friday series, now in its sixth year, went on hiatus in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic.

“As people return to work and businesses reopening, Food Truck Fest is a great way to celebrate how far we have come in the fight against COVID-19 while supporting small businesses at the same time,” said Rosa Escareno, commissioner of the Department of Business Affairs and Consumer Protection.

The rotating lineup of food trucks is not yet finalized but will feature six vendors each week. In years past, Lawrence’s Fish and Shrimp, Harold’s Chicken and The Fat Shallot were among the participants, officials said.

Look for the food trucks to set up in Daley Plaza, 50 W. Washington St., from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., on Fridays through Oct. 15.

Interested food truck operators should submit an application by July 2.
