Statements of solidarity with Black Lives Matter and, more broadly, with the call to end racism, are everywhere. They are coming from corporations as well as arts organizations across the country, including many performing arts groups in Chicago.
But there is skepticism about how much these words of support really mean, and what change, if any, has followed.
