Singer Liz Callaway Returns to Chicago
Liz Callaway made her Broadway debut in Stephen Sondheim’s “Merrily We Roll Along” in 1981. And she sang the Oscar-nominated song “Journey to the Past” from the animated film “Anastasia.”
We’ll hear that song tonight when Callaway joins us in the studio. You can also see her perform Friday night at the Metropolis Performing Arts Center in Arlington Heights.
Her latest CD is “The Essential Liz Callaway.”
Callaway of course shares some DNA with “Chicago Tonight,” a show that was launched by her father, John Callaway, 33 years ago this month.
