Two Trains Running
As part of legendary playwright August Wilson’s 10-play series chronicling African-American life through the decades, Two Trains Running depicts 1969 Pittsburgh, in the midst of the civil rights era. Chuck Smith directs and Terry Bellamy stars as diner owner Memphis Lee. The play runs for 2 hours and 45 minutes with one intermission, and will be performed through April 12. Tickets range from $25 to $79.

The Royal Society of Antarctica
The Royal Society of Antarctica follows a young woman’s return to her birthplace, Antarctica, to find out what happened to her mother. John Gawlik directs and Aila Peck stars as the young woman, Dee. The three-act play runs for 3 hours, and will be performed through April 26. Tickets range from $25 to $35.

The Royale
Set in 1905, The Royale is based on the career of Jack Johnson, the first African-American heavyweight boxing champion. Written by Marco Ramirez (whose credits include Netflix’s Orange is the New Black), the drama stars Jerod Haynes and Edwin Lee Gibson. The Royale runs for an hour and 15 minutes, and will be performed through March 29. Tickets cost $43 to $48.

The Full Monty
Based on the hit 1997 film, The Full Monty is the story of a group of unemployed guys who turn to stripping to provide for their families.  Scott Danielson, Garrett Lutz, George Toles, Randy Johnson and Eric Lindahl lead the cast. Kokandy Productions’ musical comedy runs 2 hours and 30 minutes with one intermission, and will be performed through April 12. Tickets are $38.

The beloved macabre family returns to the stage after a Broadway run and a facelift. The musical comedy features Karl Hamilton as Gomez, Rebecca Prescott at Morticia, and Dara Camera as Wednesday, whose desire to marry her normal, respectable boyfriend may change everything for the Addams.
