Businessman and entrepreneur Howard Tullman has a long track record of building successful organizations, from founding Flashpoint Academy to turning around Kendall College, and much more. Last month, the Chicagoland Entrepreneurial Center picked Tullman to lead its startup incubator. It's called 1871 and is in the Merchandise Mart. Tullman joins us to talk about his new role and how he plans to turn 1871 into a "business building factory," helping fledgling firms take flight to strengthen Chicago's economy.
