Alan Cumming Details Life, Childhood in Memoir

Actor Alan Cumming has starred in movies, hit TV series, and stage classics including the role of the emcee in Broadway's “Cabaret.” As the host of “Masterpiece Mystery,” fans call him "Mr. Mystery" or "Mystery Guy." But in reality, his own origins remained a mystery, even to himself for many years.

His experience growing up in Scotland and finally discovering the truth about his lineage is detailed in his new memoir, "Not My Father's Son." Alan Cumming visits Chicago Tonight to talk about his life and discovering some truths.
