Candidate Statement

Hi friends, my name is Rick Laib. But I’ll come back to that.

You know people often ask me, “What makes for a great candidate introduction?” The answer: solid neckties.

That, and the ability to speak on life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

And that’s why I’m running as a pro-life, pro-2nd amendment, pro-free market candidate in the 11th Congressional District.

Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness are inalienable rights identified by our founding fathers. But they’re not necessarily guaranteed to you; we have to work at keeping them.

If you take away a pro-life platform, you justify taking the life of a member of the human family.

If you take away the 2nd amendment, your liberty becomes compromised.

And the more you chip away at a free market, the more you can expect your ability to thrive in this nation, as you see fit, will come only at the permission of someone else.

Let’s embrace and work for the rights this nation was founded on.

Let’s move towards greater self-reliance and greater freedom.

My name is Rick Laib, and I’m running for the 11th Congressional district.

Candidate Q&A

Why are you running?

I am running because I am not satisfied with the way I’m currently being represented.

What is your vision for this office?

That I would be an instrumental part in our Country’s moving towards less government reliance and more freedom.

What do you think is the most pressing issue facing your constituents and how do you plan on addressing it?

We have moved past the legality of abortion; we applaud and encourage it. We must end abortion and change the culture of how we view the sanctity of human life.
