The Taste of Chicago will once again take place in Grant Park in July, city officials announced Tuesday.

The beloved festival, featuring the best of Chicago’s restaurant and culinary scene, will take place July 8-12 after being bumped into September for the past three years by the NASCAR Chicago Street Race. The race won’t take place this summer, after race officials and city leaders could not reach an agreement.

Between NASCAR, Lollapalooza and the Sueños Music Festival, much of Grant Park has been closed to the public for the bulk of the past three summers, delaying the food festival until the Labor Day holiday weekend.
