Sue the T. Rex, arguably the most famous dinosaur in the world, made her debut on exhibit 25 years ago and the Field Museum is celebrating the milestone in the goofiest way possible.

Dino Derby, a foot race featuring competitors wearing inflatable T.Rex costumes, will be the main event during Saturday's Dinopalooza festival at the Field.

Catch the action at 1 p.m. on the museum's north lawn, with the winner set to take home a $1,000 prize.

Other activities scheduled during the festival include trivia games, special guided tours and the chance to get up and close with dino bones that are usually kept behind the scenes.

Dinopalooza runs from 10 a.m.-2 p.m., with most activities centered in the Field Museum's main hall (admission required).

The festival is part of the Field's Summer of Sue, with events happening city-wide through September.
