From Blues Fest to Taste of Chicago, City Announces Dates for Summer Events

Chicago’s Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events announced Thursday the dates for this year’s spring and summer festivals.
Starting with farmers markets and the Maxwell Street markets in May, announced events run through the fall.
Citywide, including Daley Plaza – May through October; Division Street Market opens May 17 and Daley Plaza Market opens May 22
1330 S. Halsted St. – Second Sundays, May through October
Memorial Day Wreath Laying Ceremony and Parade
Daley Plaza and State Street – Saturday, May 24
Millennium Park Summer Workouts
Great Lawn – Saturdays, May 17-Aug. 30
Chicago Blues Festival
Ramova Theatre, Jay Pritzker Pavilion and throughout Millennium Park – June 5-8
Jay Pritzker Pavilion in Millennium Park - Wednesdays, Fridays and most Saturdays, June 11-Aug. 16
Millennium Park Summer Music Series
