Latin Grammy Award-nominated Mariachi Herencia de Mexico will be performing a Mother’s Day concert at Thalia Hall on May 14.

“We’re kind of just turning it into, like, a yearly tradition in the band where we just celebrate our mothers,” said trumpeter and vocalist Marco Villela. “You can expect to hear a lot of the wide variety of Mexican repertoire, as well as some that cater to appreciating our mothers. And as a matter of fact, this Mother’s Day concert will be hearing a lot of music that we’ve been crafting in the background for the past almost half a year.”
