Chicago is in for another split-season weekend, according to the National Weather Service.
In a reversal of last weekend’s rollercoaster, which started off summery and then went downhill, this weekend will kick off with subzero wind chills Friday night into Saturday morning, forecasters said.
Temperatures won't make it much above 20 degrees Saturday, so St. Patrick's Day revelers should pack on the layers, with bars expecting long lines for entry following the loosening of COVID-19 restrictions.
Sunday will bring much milder weather, as highs climb toward the 50-degree mark. By midweek, expect bona fide spring-like temperatures in the 60s.
