Mayor Lori Lightfoot’s tough-love approach to the COVID-19 pandemic has been comic gold for internet meme generators, especially after she shut down the lakefront and essentially putting the city of Chicago in a timeout.

Proving she can give as good as she gets, the mayor has released a video of her own, poking fun at her no-nonsense reputation while also spreading the serious message of “Stay home, save lives.”

When this whole nightmare ends, we foresee a future guest spot on “Saturday Night Live.”
