The Week in Review: Jussie Smollett Indicted Again

“Empire” actor Jussie Smollett once again faces charges related to allegedly faking a racist attack on himself. The indictment comes as special prosecutor Dan Webb breaks with a decision by the office of Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx to drop the case last year. Another indictment is filed against R. Kelly, and the chief of staff to embattled Cook County Commissioner Jeff Tobolski is charged with a bribery scheme tied to a red light camera contract.

Another top aide to Cook County Board President Toni Preckwinkle faces a sexual harassment claim and is barred from her offices.
