Now in its third Chicago production, Burning Bluebeard celebrates the true story of Chicago’s 1903 Iroquois Theatre fire. The story tells the tale of six singed clowns who “emerge from the burnt remains of history attempting to perform their spectacular 1903 Christmas Pantomime once and for all.” The play runs for approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes with no intermission, and will be performed until Jan. 5, 2015. Year after year, Congo Square has had the honor of producing this time-honored African American holiday classic. Heralded as a time for families to gather together, A Nativity Story: More than a Miracle returns this weekend with performances at 7:30 pm on Friday and Saturday, and 3:00 pm on Saturday and Sunday. The play runs for approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes, and will be performed until Dec. 28. Tickets start at $40.

In what promises to become an annual holiday tradition in Chicago, the Fireball Santa Crawl invites Chicagoans to celebrate the holiday season with the great taste of Fireball. The adventure begins at Bar Louie in River North and runs from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. Tickets cost $15, and the first 500 people to purchase their tickets will receive an official Fireball Santa Crawl shirt.

Performances are at 7:30 pm on Friday and Saturday, and 2:00 pm on Saturday and Sunday. Tickets range from $35 to $75.
