Increasing HPV Vaccination Rates


With an $800,000 grant, the Chicago Department of Public Health has launched a public education campaign including TV and radio ads, plus print, billboard and digital ads to encourage teens to talk to health care providers about getting the vaccine against Human Papillomavirus (HPV). Chicago Tonight talks to CDPH about why the vaccination rate is so low, and what health care providers are telling parents and teens to encourage vaccination.
