Chicago architect Jeanne Gang was named a MacArthur Fellow in 2011. The Fellowship is a $500,000, no-strings-attached grant for individuals who have shown exceptional creativity in their work and the promise to do more. Gang joins us to discuss this and more on Chicago Tonight at 7:00 pm.
In the following video, Jeanne Gang talks about being an architect and about some of her projects.
In June 2009, Phil Ponce interviewed Jeanne Gang on Chicago Tonight about her design of the Aqua Tower, an 82-story addition to the Chicago skyline, and her other structures that are reshaping not only the skyline, but the way many think about architecture. Click here to watch the 2009 interview.
