Ahead of the group’s annual conference this weekend, the Rainbow PUSH Coalition is planning a protest Thursday at the downtown Target on State Street.
The first of the boycotts happened last month, with more scheduled in the coming weeks. The effort includes boycotts of various companies and retailers during different time periods.
The majority of Chicago Public Schools students in 3rd-8th grade are taking the ISAT test this week, though parent groups who oppose the test say the number of students who have opted out of the test continues to rise.
