City Hall Update

It was musical chairs at City Hall today. The former Commissioner of Transportation Tom Byrne moved over to head Streets and Sanitation. He bumps Michael Picardi, who was sent back to his old job as commissioner of Fleet Management. Elizabeth Brackett has the latest on the changes.

On tonight's special edition of Chicago Tonight, Joel Weisman remembers broadcasting legend John Callaway, who passed away on Tuesday at the age of 72. Joel's panel includes:

• Bruce DuMont, President of the Museum of Broadcast Communications. Bruce helped launch Chicago Tonight with John in 1984.
• Chicago Sun-Times columnist Laura Washington, a former correspondent for Chicago Tonight.
• Bob Crawford, former political editor for WBBM Radio. John hired Bob in 1968 to help launch WBBM's all-news format.
• Our very own Phil Ponce, who succeeded John as host of Chicago Tonight in 1999.
