Who’s up for a road trip?
There are nine Target stores across Illinois that will be open Thursday for the midnight release of Taylor Swift’s much-hyped album, “The Life of a Showgirl.”
A single Chicago outlet, along with eight other stores scattered from Rockford to Quincy, will be stocked with the exclusive Target-only, limited-edition “The Crowd Is Your King” vinyl version pressed in “summertime spritz pink shimmer.”
Swifties can begin queueing up at 10 p.m. and will receive a ticket reserving the album, which comes with a double-sided poster and a poem written by Swift.
