Chicago roiled after the release of video showing the fatal police shooting of Dexter Reed.

The footage shows plainclothes officers firing 96 shots in 41 seconds following a purported traffic stop for a seat belt violation. Reed allegedly fired at officers first.

Chicago’s mayor and community groups have expressed concern.

Chicago police Superintendent Larry Snelling weighed in, saying the city is “a powder keg” and urged people to hold judgement until all the facts are known.
