Bears Undefeated But Questions Remain After 1st Two Games

The Bears are 2-0 but they barely beat the Giants last week after dominating the first half.

Up next are the winless but high-flying offense of the Atlanta Falcons. What do the Bears need to remain undefeated?

Former Bears player James “Big Cat” Williams shares his three keys for the Bears against the Atlanta Falcons.

Big Cat Take #1

The Bears defensive line needs to take it to the next level. We got a glimpse of what everyone has been looking for on the play when Robert Quinn had the sack fumble and Khalil Mack recovered the fumble. Against Atlanta they will have opportunities – they're going to need to take advantage of them.

Big Cat Take #2

Coach Nagy needs to stick with the David Montgomery run game—feed him. The offensive line has blocked well and given him some room to run not to mention it’s helped Mitch Trubisky because now play action has been a good complement to the run game. It also keeps a Falcons offense that’s averaging 32 points and 454 yards a game off the field.

Big Cat Take #3

Get the tight ends more involved. The tight end group (Jimmy Graham, Cole Kmet, Demetrius Harris) looks better than they have in quite a while run blocking. Now could be a great time to really establish them in the passing game.

Bold Prediction: Bears 23-27
