Pools and beaches remain closed due to the coronavirus, but folks can chill out at a limited number of splash pads, which have been temporarily opened at the city’s parks, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., through Friday.

More than 100 water spray features have been turned on, but the rest are still closed. So check before heading out the door, or the only thing you might wind up cooling is your heels.
