Ald. Tom Tunney’s 44th Ward includes much of Chicago’s Lakeview neighborhood on the North Side, including communities like Wrigleyville and Boystown.
The area is known for its many restaurants, bars, and of course, baseball games.
Tunney has served on the City Council since 2003, when he was elected as Chicago’s first openly gay alderman.
He’s also the owner of Ann Sather restaurants, which have shifted to takeout service at their three North Side locations.
Tunney joins “Chicago Tonight” to talk about how his ward is responding to the COVID-19 pandemic.
