Steven Nasatir has spent more than four decades leading the largest Jewish organization in Chicago.
The Jewish United Fund / Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Chicago is also the largest social service agency in Illinois, serving roughly 300,000 people.
In 2018 alone, the organization raised $380 million to pay for human services, advocacy efforts and Jewish education.
Nasatir joins us to discuss his long career and why he’s now stepping back after four decades of service.
