Death and Harry Houdini
Catch our segment on Houdini theater productions and want to see the magic in person? Death and Harry Houdini stars real-life magician Dennis Watkins, who takes on one of Houdini’s most famous escape acts: the water torture cell. This is the third time the House Theatre has put on the show, which kicked off the company in 2001, and Watkins says it’s vastly improved. “We’ve gotten smarter about the story we’re dealing with,” he said. “Not only is there more spectacle and magic, the magic is more effectively used to tell the story.” Tickets are $25.
