Lyric Tenor Anthony Kearns

World-renowned tenor Anthony Kearns took the American television audience by storm in 1999 as the youngest member of the wildly popular musical group, The Irish Tenors, with whom he has 10 CDs. American critics hailed Kearns as perhaps the most likely of the three (Irish Tenors) to “achieve the level of tenor super stardom now enjoyed by Pavarotti and a handful of other singers.”

Mr. Kearns is a respected ambassador of Ireland to the world and has presented the music of his homeland across the globe. His flourishing international solo career also includes major television appearances, concert tours and collaborations with the world’s finest orchestras, including the Boston Pops, the Chicagoland Pops, and the Czech National Orchestra.

In the following performance, Kearns sings “Danny Boy” during a holiday performance in Washington, D.C.

Kearns has performed in many of the most prestigious venues in America, among them: Carnegie Hall, Radio City Music Hall, Madison Square Garden, Boston's Fleet Pavilion, The Hollywood Bowl, and on the grounds of the Capitol on the Fourth of July and at the funeral of President Ronald W. Reagan.  Last year, he performed at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts' choral tribute to U.S. military families. He also sang before the Moment of Remembrance during the National Memorial Day Parade (300,000 people) and at the first-ever embassy gala for the USO's “Wounded Warrior” program in Washington, D.C.

Mr. Kearns frequently performs charity concerts, on television, and with the finest symphony orchestras and opera houses in Europe and America.  He is a member of the GRAMMYs.
