Goodbye, Dusty

It wasn't Al Capone though, it was two brilliant University of Chicago graduate students, Nathan Leopold and Richard Loeb. Last Monday we presented part one of our six-part Chicago Stories mini-series about Leopold and Loeb and their attempt to commit a "perfect" crime. Tonight, John Callaway picks up the story with a well-known Chicagoan, former Alderman Leon Despres, who grew up in Kenwood and knew both the victim, Bobby Franks, and Richard Loeb.

Arts Across Illinois
