In 1978, WTTW’s John Callaway traveled to Atlanta to interview Coretta Scott King.
In a conversation taking place about a decade after the death of Martin Luther King Jr., they discussed her late husband’s life and the work she was doing to continue his legacy and mission.
Coretta Scott King died on Jan. 30, 2006, but her work to establish The King Center resulted in an organization that is still advocating for nonviolent social change.
