Candidate Statement

Hi. My name is Jimmy Lee Tillman II. I am seeking the nomination for the Senate here in the great state of Illinois.

I am the only candidate that’s running on the America First policy. I am the most conservative candidate on the ticket.

I am a fellow at the Heritage Academy. To the GOP voters, if you hold the line, I am the largest vote-getter here in Cook County. If you trust in the plan, with my nomination, we finally can make inroads in the Black community. Build Back Better broke Blacks’ backs.

For more information, you can go to my webpage at JimmyLee2DC.com.

I am an alumni of Mollison Elementary, Hyde Park Career Academy, and the great Central State University,

If you want to win GOP, you’ll put Tillman in. For God, for Central, for State, remember where we go one, we go all.

Thank you.

Candidate Q&A

Why are you running?

Biden’s absolute failures on the world stage have endangered Americans’ security, reduced America’s credibility and standing, and weakened the world in extraordinary ways. To make it worse, they removed a rebounding economy and have American families with high inflation and American workers losing jobs. That is why I am running for the GOP nomination for US Senate.

What does this office do well, and what needs fixing?

The Senate does its best to represent the people and provide checks and balances, as it’s designed to do. Officeholders can do a better job of representing the people instead of their political parties or personal interest.

What is the most pressing issue facing your constituents and how do you plan on addressing it?

Today, the Biden Administration’s collapsed border security policies have resulted in the worst self-imposed crisis on our Southern border. This catastrophe has increased crime in our communities with the flow of illegal guns and drugs. In particular, Black Americans’ employment rate has been hampered because many who work low-skill jobs like washing dishes, mopping floors, or making beds are often not contracted to companies that hire undocumented workers.

What specific steps would you take to ensure your office is accessible and responsive to your constituents?

Illinois is a vast territory. I would establish well-staffed district offices and schedule Constituency Days throughout the year in villages, townships, and unincorporated areas. I would utilize current online methods of communication and constituency services. I will also publish a newspaper quarterly for those who want to be old-fashion and hold information in their hands.
