Candidate Statement

Hello, fellow Citizens. My name is Anthony W. Williams and I am a Republican candidate for the United States Senate in the State of Illinois

Let me share with you why I am running for this noble position. Number one, to address the violence as an American Public Health Crisis. The CDC has declared violence as a public health crisis. We must address it at the state level and at the federal level.

Number two, to bring forth a plan of civility. Our citizens are not healthy. We need to be healthy. Mental health is very important right now. People are suffering from current traumatic stress and post-traumatic stress. Civility.

Number three, President Ronald Reagan signed into law reparations for Japanese Americans. American descendants of slaves are now entitled to reparations. Recently, President Biden declared that Russia should pay reparations to Ukrainians.

And lastly, I’m running because of the fact we need to be healthy. It's very important that we be healthy right now. A government that does not care about the health of its citizens is a failing government.

I’m Anthony Williams for United States Senator Republican, state of Illinois. God bless you and your family
