In 2011, Jason Wright chose an unusual path for a 28-year-old professional football player — he left behind a seven-year career in the NFL and a new contract offer to pursue his MBA at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a career as a management consultant. 

Recently, Wright made another unexpected career pivot back into the professional football arena when he was named president of the Washington Football Team in August.
