Chicago Artist Shares Unique Take on ‘Stay Home Chicago’ Remix

When local artists were asked by Mayor Lori Lightfoot’s office to sing their remake of a Chicago classic, one artist decided to recreate the song altogether.
It’s a tune that can be recognized anywhere: “Sweet Home Chicago.” But it’s the remix by musician Wyatt Waddell — “Stay Home Chicago” — has managed to stand out on social media.
We share the story behind this one-of-a-kind song that’s encouraging people to flatten the curve.
