Battling Great Lakes' Invasive Species

Asian carp usually leads the news with reporting about invasive species in the Great Lakes. But a massive effort to keep those ravenous predators out of Lake Michigan has worked -- so far. What's gotten less coverage are the 180 other invasive species that have invaded the Great Lakes ecosystem. The EPA has awarded more than $8 million in grants to combat the problem. Joining us to talk about the efforts to prevent the spread of invasive species in the Great Lakes is the Shedd Aquarium's Senior Research Biologist, Phil Willink.
