Inspector General Joe Ferguson


There's an ordinance signed by 35 aldermen that would shift the power to investigate aldermen and their employees from Legislative Inspector General Faisal Khan to Chicago's Inspector General Joe Ferguson. But it's being held up by the Chicago City Council's Rules Committee. Khan's office has run out of money and has filed a lawsuit against Mayor Rahm Emanuel and several committee chairmen. We talk with IG Joe Ferguson about reforming Chicago's government oversight.
