On tonight's special edition of Chicago Tonight, Joel Weisman remembers broadcasting legend John Callaway, who passed away on Tuesday at the age of 72. Joel's panel includes:
- Bruce DuMont, President of the Museum of Broadcast Communications. Bruce helped launch Chicago Tonight with John in 1984.
- Chicago Sun-Times columnist Laura Washington, a former correspondent for Chicago Tonight.
- Bob Crawford, former political editor for WBBM Radio. John hired Bob in 1968 to help launch WBBM's all-news format.
- Our very own Phil Ponce, who succeeded John as host of Chicago Tonight in 1999.
