Chicago's New Recycling Center
There's a new recycling initiative in Chicago. This one is geared toward the more dangerous products in your home. But it's also accepting your old computers. Eddie Arruza tells us about the city's latest effort to prevent even more unwanted items from going to landfills. The City of Chicago's Household Chemical and Computer Recycling Center is located at 1150 N. North Branch St. on Goose Island. Hours: Tuesdays from 7 a.m. to noon; Thursdays from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.; first Saturday of every month from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. For more information, call 311.
