Sunflowers Bloom

[block:views=responsive_slides-block]

Here come the sunflowers. This morning we were greeted by the first blooms of sunflowers in our garden.

Back in June we planted the dwarf sunflower seeds, specifically Teddy Bear sunflower seeds. These sunflowers were only supposed to get two to three feet tall.

But given the density of our garden, these flowers needed to grow taller than that to reach the sun and bloom, especially the sunflowers in the north garden which had to grow taller than the zucchini plant.
